Trench Town Polytechnic College (TTPC) proudly hosted its inaugural Principal’s Breakfast on Friday, July 4, 2025, marking a pivotal step in the College’s mission to strengthen partnerships and create a clear student pipeline into its tertiary programmes.
The event welcomed principals from eight key high schools: Charlie Smith, Spanish Town, Haile Selassie, Charlemont, Papine, Norman Manley, Kingston Technical, and Dunoon Technical. The gathered leaders discussed how best to support student transition from the Sixth Form Pathways Programme into TTPC’s offerings.
Held on TTPC’s campus, the Breakfast served as both a networking opportunity and a soft launch for upcoming conversations that will formalise matriculation routes for students. A highlight of the morning was a roundtable discussion where principals and TTPC leadership exchanged ideas and forged commitments to sustained collaboration.
“This event was not just about sharing information, it was about building lasting relationships, aligning on student success goals, and co-creating a framework for future collaboration,” said Principal Dr. Dosseth Edwards Watson.
The College also captured the day in a video recap, now available on TTPC’s social media platforms, showcasing the energy and shared vision that defined the event.
As the first in a series of strategic initiatives, the Principal’s Breakfast emphasizes TTPC’s commitment to access, partnership, and student-centered growth, cementing its role as a first-choice institution for practical, industry-aligned education.
